The LG 40WP95C-W is a stunning ultrawide monitor with sharp 5K2K resolution and excellent IPS colors. However, the 72 Hz refresh rate and 5 ms response time are underwhelming for gaming, especially at this price point. It’s better suited for productivity or creative work where pixel density matters more than speed. The Thunderbolt 4 support is a nice bonus. For competitive gaming, you’ll want higher refresh rates.
